Episode 12 GuacAmigos

GuacAmigos is the brainchild of restaurant magnates Nicole & Michael Kelly in partnership with the legendary skateboarding pioneer Tony Hawk.

GuacAmigos feature an amazing waterside location with rustic decor accented with memorabilia from Tony and his friends including surfer Kelly Slater.

The restaurant features a few really unique items you have to check out including the Lobster Taco – its a $28 all crab claw meat delight wrapped in a tortilla.

Is there any Caviar here? Why yes there is a Caviar Taco (what?) that is a $60 delicacy.

Also the table side guacamole allows your server to prepare in front of you according to your desired ingredients a customized condiment according with whatever spice, ingredients and consistently you desire. So basically a dinner and show experience.

For the grand opening Tony Hawk and friends setup a full on skateboard demonstration in the parking lot.

Descanso is a modern taqueria in that we celebrate authentic Mexican flavors and recipes executed on a traditional plancha and prepared at your table. Imagine a Japanese cooking table only making killer tacos. Descanso also makes a mean margarita and other fine craft cocktails.

Episode 8 R10 Social House

R/10 Social House is a Redondo Beach gastropub with farm-to-table kitchen, handcrafted cocktails and a selection of artisan beers and wines.

Named after the closest deep sea buoy (R10) known amongst local boaters, paddlers and seafarers of all kinds (especially the seal variety) as a meeting spot, R/10 Social House is the ideal meeting spot on land. Episode 7 Farmhouse at Rogers Gardens

We are hosted by chef Rich Mead at his restaurant Farmhouse at Rogers Gardens.

Farmhouse is set in the middle of a seven acre nursery in the middle of Corona Del Mar.

With super local vegetables, fish and meats bought weekly from the farmers market and small single source providers, the food here is something to love.

The bar is equally fresh.
